Wow! Have I missed this web page! For the past four days, we haven’t been able to get on, so we have not been able to keep up on everything. But Phillip Alexander got on the job, and we are up and running once again!
Just a side, note of appreciation… as soon as I logged on, there were THREE comments waiting for me to moderate. That is about a comment per day that I was not able to get on line! My heart swells with joy, folks. Thanks for continuing to stop by bitethehand.org!

Bite the Hand Productions is founding a society at Sonoma State University! We will be using the society to provide more artistic and activist opportunities for university students and for our local community. Here are three main goals of that we will be working on:
We are going through the chartering process right now and will be having meetings and events very soon! Keep checking our web site for updates!
Are you a JC or SSU student? We want to have more members among SSU students. We also want to start up a society at the JC. E-mail us at thepharmakon@gmail.com if you are interested!

We have redrafted our bite-sized manifesto to incorporate some elements from our full manifesto. Both of them are in the “pages” sidebar to the left. Or, you can read the bite-sized one right here:
“We at Bite the Hand Productions maintain that what is administered to us cannot sustain us. Our work is to collaborate to bring forth the essential qualities of life, those which give us meaning and sustenance. These qualities will not be found in what is slopped on our plate by outside forces. They can be found inside ourselves and through a knowledge of and cooperation with our communities, media, and environments. So we say bite the hand that feeds you nothing- FEED YOURSELF.”

We’ve been away from the computer for a few days and haven’t been able to add any posts to the web page. But now… we’re back and writing away!!
It’s really important to Bite the Hand Productions that we keep this website updated daily. We thank everyone who has come on by to check out what we are up to. Keep on visiting us frequently and keep on leaving comments! Heck, make it your homepage!
Anyway, there is a lot of great Bite the Hand action coming your way soon. The next issue of The Pharmakon will be coming out in a matter of days. We are preparing for a Bite the Hand Society at Sonoma State and are also preparing for a community quilt day at Free Mind Media later this month. Oh, and Bryce Style will be publishing a book with us soon. Keep in touch, folks!

Categories: Phillip Click's Photos, Our Webpage, The Pharmakon.
He’s the photo-man, the web provider, the enthusiastic brain and body that moves the party along. He’s Phillip Alexander.
This is the guy who gave us the webpage you see before you. Back in September, he set it up through his web site “Winner Take Nothing.” After a short lesson, we were posting as often as we could. The rest is available in our archives.
We want to say THANK YOU PHILLIP. You have helped Bite the Hand out immensely and you are loved and respected by many in Sonoma County. We can’t wait to see you the next time you are in town!
We recommend everyone check out his photos at “Winner Take Nothing” (the link is below). He has taken pictures at some of the best shows in Sonoma County and they are a visual delight.

Annie the Ghost is an amazing artist who’s work has been featured in nearly every issue of The Pharmakon. She is the one behind the mysterious poster for our recent New Years show. Soon, January’s Pharmakon will be appearing with her art gracing the cover in a collaboration with Tim Dixon. It is great. We are very fortunate to be working with her at Bite the Hand Productions. She has made us believe in ghosts.
From now on, we will be using this web page to get Annie’s art out to the public as much as we can! At least one art piece of hers will be posted weekly, along with a link to her online art gallery. You can see all of these posts by clicking on “Annie the Ghost’s Art” on the “Categories” sidebar to the left. Feel free to leave comments whenever you wish.
You can look at her online art gallery right now by clicking here: Annie The Ghost’s Artwork

Tim Dixon is a co-founder of Bite the Hand Productions and The Crux. He also creates music with The Semi-Evolved Simiand and his hip-hop project, Timmy Redface. We are writing this post to let the public know that Tim is also the primary visual artist for Bite the Hand Productions! He has created the cover and layout of every Pharmakon newsletter, as well as the majority of our posters and fliers!
And Tim Dixon’s art is now available online! He wants to share his work with the public and is looking for employment as an artist on commission. To view his gallery, click on the link below:
If you need some kind of artistic assistance, for your business, organization or for your personal life, call Tim at (707) 291-5695 or e-mail him at thepharmakon@gmail.com

Thank you all for your support. We at Bite the Hand can feel a real change coming to this area. Keep it coming.
We have just finished the manifesto for our production group. It seems to summarize our philosophy and mission quite well.
You can find it under the “pages” sidebar to the left. It is titled “Manifesto.”
Please read it and please leave comments. We want to know what you think.

It is October 2007 and Bite the Hand Productions has a new web site. This is a new move for us and it is a great one. Now, we can post information and thoughts whenever we want and have a public space to post pictures and art. We encourage everyone to drop on by often because we will be adding new posts all the time. Heck, make it your homepage!
Here are some things we want to do to improve this page. If you have any internet experience and can help, drop us a line at thepharmakon@gmail. com.
-We want to make an interactive events calender that links to other web pages.
-We want to make an e-mail link on the homepage
We welcome any suggestions on how we can make this web site better. Cheers.
