The First Annual Insect Carnival took place on the 31st of August and the 1st and 2nd of September, 2007. We danced in the mud, we preached, we flew, we sang, we hit the drum, we played with fire, and we did all that other stuff.

Not a bad way to spend three days. It was the first event of its scale and duration we have ever done and it remains a victory and milestone for the do-it-yourselfers around these parts. Now that we know it can be done, let’s make next year’s even better!
